California’s Renewable Energy Law SB-100 provides free solar installations to eligible residents in Southern California, in part to the Federal Solar Investment Tax Credit (ITC). However, this bill may lead to the elimination of the ITC, depending on upcoming Senate decisions. If passed, both the ITC and the associated program benefits could end by December 31, 2025.
